If any of the validation queries should fail the migration will halt - in some cases leaving you with a half way completed migration. The validation runs as part f the bfmigrateconfig -s phase to check and verify the data integrity in the 7.0.2 staging tables. There are also b7_ staging tables in the new 7.1 schema which will hold data after the validation happens. This occurs during the bfmigrateconfig -m phase. The staging tables are denoted by a b7_ naming convention in the 7.0.2 schema. ![]() ![]() These staging tables reflect the new 7.1 table structure and contain the initial set of transformed data. The original tables by design will not be touched by the bfmigrateconfig script. There are four different types of tables in a migration scenario - two types in the old 7.0.2 schema and two types in the new 7.1 schema.
